A 60 ans, il nous a prévenu que la grande menace à court terme à laquelle l’humanité devait urgemment se préparer était celle d’une pandémie mondiale. Il consacre d’ailleurs la moitié de sa fortune à lutter contre les maladies et à vacciner les populations les plus pauvres dans le cadre de la fondation Bill & Melinda Gates.
